This winter, you’re invited on Saturday, December 6th, between 1:00-4:00pm to one of IAR’s best events, the Winter Open House. Our format gives you a broad selection of demos to attend at your convenience. You will also be able to meet with Admissions and other staff to discuss IAR’s Audio Recording and Production program, and you will become a possible raffle winner.

Special presenters on December 6th are Thom Cadley, Rock Band and Guitar Hero mix engineer, and Greg Harper, co-founder of gadgetoff.com, speaking about tomorrow’s audio technologies. This Open House will also include a hands-on mixing session where you will be in front of a digital audio workstation, an audio post-production demo, and a chance to experience the live recording of a band in IAR’s studio. You can join a GarageBand/podcasting presentation by Apple Inc and performances by our Next Level New Artist Search participants hosted by IARecords.

IAR and our event partners Apple Inc, Hot 97FM, Disc Makers, and the Village Voice will be contributing to a raffle of valuable gifts.
